hoping someone knows what type of tree and bush these are. need to replace the tree and four of the bushes for one of my clients.

The shrubs are a Euonymus variety...Burning Bush.

I'm not any help on the tree, sorry.

ok thanks! i figured that the bushes would be easy to id but the tree im thinking ill just suggest something rather than put the same thing in.

That tree has been chopped in the past anyway.

Euonymus alatus in the first pic. Alatus means winged. If you look the stem looks square shaped from the woody wings.

What type of tree? It's a half dead one, duh!

Yeah, just put something else in there. Don't really matter what it is unless there are other ones on the property you want to match. Not sure it's a great place for a tree anyway though....looks more suitable for a shrub bed to me actually.

Hard to guess on the tree without a closer view of the leaves.

Amur maple.....maybe?

I agree, the tree looks to be an Acer ginnala which is an Amur Maple. Usually these are extremely hardy to cold and drought.

The tree is going to be hard to find in a nursury...... They usually dont stock half dead ones.... ;)
