Now that looks very sweet! I bet it is a blast to use. Christmas is just around the corner.

When you find out how much they are, let us know...I'd be interested. I'm gonna guess at least 4 or 5 thou.

Then again, who knows:confused:

mr. rich is emailing me a price list tomorrow. he also stated that units are in production and the first ones will be shipped soon.

Who is making these? They look so sweet!! Are they a stander / surfer with out the deck? Anyway, someone please post more info. (website, manuf.)

10-14-2002, 07:32 PM
they are made by lt. rich. they also make the z-spray. no this not a mower without a deck on it, i feel dumber just reading your post. prices will be available tomorrow as stated above, there is no further info avaiable. notice in the pic, the unit is not ready for delivery

Easy now, you can't blame him for not reading the writing while looking at those spactacular photos of the aerator.

Rod I would guess that since the Z-Spray is in the $6k plus range that this will be also. It looks to have about the same in parts cost as the spray rig.

BTW he redesigned the wright stander to accomadate the spray rig, and made most of it out of stainless steel, so this looks like the same power unit.

Looks like it has a linear actuator to lift the tines out of the ground, and you cannot turn while aerating.

thank u mike, at least u seen what i was saying.. whats your beef with pulling the tines out.. well at least u have actually ran an aerator.. lol

10-15-2002, 12:18 AM
It kinda looks like the "Bladerunner" of aerators.

10-15-2002, 12:21 AM
nothin like raw steel and tines that will take skin huh hoss!!. i'll tell u more tomorrow

tines at 8mph= really good medical

I was rather offended reading your reply to me. I have never heard of It. rich before, and I honestly thought some body had converted a surfer to an aerator. The people on lawnsite have always seemed helpful and willing to help others. What's with you?

10-15-2002, 10:31 AM
wow....there goes the aerator market!!!!

nice looking machine!!!

10-15-2002, 02:39 PM
ya that was rather rude because it does look like the surfer and a wright stander with a aerator on . guess wright and great dane's enginers did not see this coming

10-15-2002, 09:07 PM
A little off topic but wasnt Wright supposed to release a new product by July that was superior to both the stander and sentar? Anyone know about it?

Nice ride Hoss i might be grabbing that and riding instead of standing behind a pluggr, i just goy my lit from them yesterday good machine.

I want one. Someone hook me up. I could not imagine not having lawnaire IV arms and Back. That might be kind of unatural.

I was skimming some past post, and came across this ride on aerator. I did a web search and found nothing. The original guy who posted this has been banned. Does anyone else know anything about the ride on areator?

Thanks in Advance

Mr. Rich will arrange demo from customer if one available in area.
Looks like a time saver to me and well worth the money, if
reliable. I was told there is also a return policy if not satisfied.

I talked to them about a year ago and if I remember correctly they were planning on working up an overseeder attatchment. They also have some nice ride on spreaders, I would like to get a close up look at the aerator to see if a sprayer/spreader could be adapted to it so you would have a more versatile machine.

I have lesco split-drive with built on wheel i made.Much easier, but still harder than heck! That is one NICE machine. My aerations were half as many in 2003 compared to 2002.I'm sure it has to do with economy.Awesome mowing season though.Lord,i love this job!!!!!

For those that have one?

What is the clearance like on the Z?

Will it hang at the edge of my ramp as I load it onto the trailer or into the box?

12-19-2005, 05:10 PM
Do most of you guys that have the Z-plug go ahead and have the spreader put on it for overseeding at the same time? Or do most of you guys just do aerating only?

12-19-2005, 05:16 PM
if we have to seed we bring the lesco spreader and if the lawn is large we use the perm-a-green.

12-19-2005, 07:27 PM
I'm sure it's a lot cheaper than getting the add-on spreader. I've got a good spreader as well. I'll see how much they want for the add on.
