Hey guys,
New here, have a question for you. I am looking to buy my first zero turn, and I think I have it narrowed down to the following: either a Bad Boy MZ (42 inch with a 22 HP Kawasaki for $3300) or a Gravely ZT XL (48 inch with 24HP Kawasaki for $3900, or I can get a 54 inch for $4000).
I have an acre to mow, mostly flat, some rough and uneven spots. This is just for residential use, don't plan on doing any more than my yard.
What do you guys think I should get? I'm not that knowledgeable in this area.
Thanks in advance.

Since you are in the Sun Belt, I would pick the mower with the highest blade tip speed, the most power, the widest deck, and a high ground speed. The reason is you want to get done in a hurry and get out of the hot sun asap.

All else being equal, get the mower that weighs the most.

A Cub Cadet with 42" mower weighs less than my 72" mower deck without the tractor.
