Any info on the Encore Prowler ztr's...the Encore dealer is trying to sell me one, but I'm stuck on Exmark...I've seen some of their other ztr's in the field, but not the Prowler...was kinda curious if anyone has used them...

You can find more info on-line at www.encoreequipment.com

I'm waiting to see one of these in the flesh myself. What kind of price are you getting on them? They advertise like 19,000 blade tip speed and have pivoting front axles. I hope someone can tell us both more than I know about them!:)

I Think The Owner Of Encore. was One of the Owners Of The old EXMARK. Could Be wrong. I've Never heard anything good about them .

...anything else just isn't an eXmark! I own an encore, will not ever own another one.

I do know a lot of cutters around here use there walks, but no one likes there riders, especially the prowler.

Has anyone used their Z34? I've never tried any Encore equipment, but I'm thinking a 34" ztr would be great for many residential lawns.

That Z34 would slide right through them gates!!! But my 42" fits through a standard chainlink walkway gate. That's giving up 10" but would still probably be faster than my lawn tractor.

A 34" would leave "pin stripes" on the lawn. :D

I tried out a encore prowler with a 31hp gas and 72" cut deck last fall. If I was you and you are comparing to exmark I would definetly go exmark! I am not a big exmark fan but they are definetly better than encore!

If I were you I would go with a company who supports it's dealers! And that is definetly not encore. Encore quality in it's rider is also something that I would be afraid of, there have been multiple problems with the prowler.

I know of a guy who had a prowler 61" that caught on fire and it was encore who was at fault! Encore just blew him off. He has a lawyer on the case but that just tells me to stay away from encore especially when they were suppose to have confirmed that it was a problem of there's.

Stick with a company who backs there dealer and there product!

I did notice on the Prowler, it had a water cooled engine, but had no shield over the engine...I've notived that Exmark, Bunton, & Lesco have that shield....

I do not think that the shield makes any diffrence, because dixie chopper and bladerunner and many others do not cover there engines!

Not much good being said about Encore equipment. I haven't been able to find any of there stuff to look at. Should I maybe just go ahead and forget about them???
