I'm in Vancouver B.C. What I do is charge 32.50 per labour hour and add a four hour
rental fee for the power washer on top of that.
If my machine goes down for some reason, I like the security of having a
back-up machines rental cost covered. If I don't need it, then it's profit
or I can apply it as an ROI- return on investment when I require a new machine .
So, add it up....4 hours labour is $122 and the rental is 65 for four hours
=$187 plus tax. I might charge 250 for a 4 hour job
To answer your question I would charge $62.50 plus tax per hour to power wash.

I also live I'n NJ. I estimate how many hours I think the job will take and multiply that times $100. So basically $100/hour and I work very quickly. I'm very careful to inspect ALL of the job before I price it, dirtier houses take longer! I rarely get a job turned down because of my price. Fact is no home owner really wants to go rent a power washer and climb up 30 feet on a wet ladder for 4 hours. So to most of the clients I come across $400-$500 to clean their 2 story house is fair.
