Any info is appreciated!

Yep. Contact your Department of Agriculture. I don't know of any States that don't require a license for applying pesticides. http://www.agr.state.tx.us/pesticide/brochures/pes_genbroch.htm

Thanks for the reply, Scraper, but I don't want to apply pesticides. Do I need a licence to apply just fertilizer?

Well you said weed killer. Weed killer is an herbicide which is technically a pesticide thus requiring a license. Why don't you follow the link I gave you and read up.

Scraper is right on the money !!! You can apply straight fert without a license, but not a weed-and-feed or any other herbicide or pesticide.

I'll start reading up. I didn't realize herbicide was considered a pesticide.

Get licensed and you'll find lot's more opportunity to make some money. Good luck.
