27 liquid kaw

My lazer has a 27 liquid kawie, It has a small sticker on the motor saying "usefull life hours 1000 hrs" .Can you give me some info on the usefull life of the engine??????

Kawasaki puts that sticker there and everyone should trade their Exmark mowers in on a new one once they hit 1,000 hours. After all there's a bunch of us with kids that will be going to college someday and that's not cheap.

No, if you hadn't guessed I'm just kidding. Nobody around here knew what it was for either. A quick call to Kawi and we had the answer though. The 1000-hour thing is an EPA emission test. It's the most stringent test they put these types of engine through. I'm not sure it means anything, other than the engine passed what is considered the "standard".

It really means that a little piece of yours and my tax dollars goes into each and every one of those little beauties.
