Koehler engines

What kind of life span do you see on these engines. Have two Toros w/23hp and am at 1200 plus hrs.

if you took good care of them they should be getting just broke in. i bought a wright stander with a kohler on it. guys never took care of it. used a brush cutter blade for an air filter cover. had close to 2k hours on it when i sold it last year. its still running and is the guys main mower. i believe it has close to 3k on it now. i had all kohlers at one time but i have mostly deeres now which only have kawis on them

I've got some over 4000 and 5000hrs and still running.

Kohler makes great engines. If maintained properly 4000hrs is reasonable.:usflag:
