View Full Version : Looking to buy a business!

I am a Pa landscaper looking to buy out a local business that is struggling to get by year to year. They have roughly 50 accounts all good nothing small probably around the $40-$42 range on average. Gross revenue $95,000. I have done my research on what it is worth but wanted to get a idea from maybe others who have done this. The upside is the business has a lot of room to grow so I am thinking that is good?
Your thoughts please.

business standard from what i remember is to take the last 3 years gross revenue and take an average. thats what the "business" is worth. Equipment is to never pay more than .50 cents on the dollar...or never more than half of what it costs to buy new. If its old and beat up--tell them to keep it and just tool up.

Alright so the gross is 300,000 for three years what would be the buy out price. The owner only makes about 35000 year after all expences.
