Looks like you got it all down to a science with that setup, only thing I'd do different is a flatbed Isuzu.

Holy King Ranch!!! Very nice truck!! And that's coming from a GM guy!! So I got a few questions on the fertilizing.

How many applications a year do you do at a house/business?

And which applications are sprayed vs. spread?

Does it matter if you spray or spread all the time? Like only spray all applications or only spread? Some guys i know spray a few and spread a few

And finally how do you charge? SQ FT? Acreage? And whats the run?

I've been interested in doing something like this, but with organic products, would I charge more?

Thanks in advance!! :waving:

does it matter spray or spread depends on your area and what u do
Charge per K
I do not know cost of organics [/LIST]

you need to do your research and learn your area. My first year or two was just that READ Find someone close to you that would help or advice.

These are all the same property. I do not know why the color in the lawn is different standing on the grass its all the same color. The property stops at the fire plug. #3 in the back yard that area had looked really bad at the end of the year #4 is the road frontage 1 and 2 is the divide between properties.

I need some a little more space.

I like the new space looks great need to overhall my shed, neighbors connecting fence with termites ruined mine, the flors 2x4 and 1/4 of the wall 2x4s are destroyed. The joist and uppers are in good shape still got some Wood Cutter Bee's tearing holes in them now they are crazy this year down my way, destructive little baztards.

I got to jack up my upper cut away the sides and replace them out one section at a time, going to overhaul it into full work area with some home storage space and most likely build on a lean to on the side.

I sprayed a small area in my customer's neighbors lawn to try and slowdown the weed migration into his yard. Now the costumer would like me to spray the neighbors entire yard and he will pay me. I said I had to get the neighbors consent to treat his yard its a mess.

I've been there before man. Some neighbors just do not care and let weeds grow like crazy in their yard, and it spreads to your clients yard. But I also have clients who refuse to get weed treatments.

These people do nothing to there yard and my costumer walks around his with a magnifying glass looking for stuff but he is a great guy and very easy to get along with.

Ah, well good for him. I bet he pays well then if he cares about his lawn that much. Kinda wish I had clients who actually cared. I'm still the new guy though. I got one picky lady, the rest are like, Screw it, cut it as short as you can for as cheap as you can.

You have some beautiful dogs man. Hows business been so far this season?

Business is good I have all the work I would like. I am in the process of getting a computer tracking program for scheduling and chemical tracking the old Excel sheets are not working any more for me. In 3 months I should order a 8.5x18 enclosed that will be a welcome change.

The dogs are East German I take one of them with me in the Fall and Winter. They love to ride, at the job site they will ether lay on my bed cover or sit in the trailer and watch me.
