Why are you selling? I bought one 2 years ago and has been the best trimmer i have ever owned. I have owned about 12+ echos, 4 huskys, 2 stihls, and 2 shinnys. Definatly the best.

I have a feeling this trimmer isn't for sale any longer. I saw the same trimmer listed on eBay a week or so ago, for more money, and it's no longer there.

Yes, I've heard they are really good trimmers. For what it is worth, someone has them on sale, brand new, for $209 including free shipping, on eBay.

As another landscaper trying to save money, im always searching for a good deal. We go thru weed wackers like candy. If they last 2 years im happy. Ive had echo, shiny, redmax.....they dont make them like they used to with all the new emissions crap. Ive decided to try kawi. I found this one for $179 new. Good deal I think? http://www.smallenginewarehouse.com/product.asp?PN=KTFR27A&desc=Kawasaki String Trimmer 26.3cc Prosumer Trimmer-flex cable shaft, Lightweight

Looks VERY good to me, as long as you're not planning to mount any blade or attachment!

How do the kawi's run without the guard??

It will cut the clutch and engine life in half , so if you keep them 2 years or less then you are fine after that it is a crap shoot. So buying a used one with guard off waste of money. I bought a bunch of these I got them new for $170 each last year this s over priced if it is even still for sale
