View Full Version : Need a Lid Seal for PermaGreen

I need the rubber ring that goes in the lid of the Permagreen. JDL tells me I have to get the whole lid from PG and they would be kind and gracious enough to sell it to me for the low low price of $26. I say there's got to be a better way. Anyone have any good leads for something like this? I know IO can get just a seal somewhere, and Lord knows, can get a whole lid cheaper than $26 (PG does NOT make these tanks and lids!). Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

call pg direct and ask,-
on my triump they keep sending me these silly foam gaskets for the
tank lids, the lids constantly leak, the stupid foam gasket last about a day,
they get soggy and fall into the tank- useless

Yeah, I can see how THAT wouldn't work! Mine,...is a black rubber rectangular seal that is about 1/2" too long from what I can tell. Everytime I take the lid off, I have to be real careful not to drop it into the tank, as it comes right off. Sometimes putting the lid on, I have to do it twice, as well.

Threw mine in the trash for my triumph, go to home depot and get the foam tape. Its the same concept just won't fall in the tank everytime. That seal was a ******ed idea!
