aren't they 8050? We use the 8050's i believe it's still the most powerful blower on the market...makes leaf clean up go fast

Thanks for the feedback on the Redmax 8500. I was thinking of getting one. Reading through some threads on the machine some say it's not much more powerful than some of the other big boys of blowers such as the Echo PB770 or the Shindaiwa EB802 while others say it is more powerful. Can you post any photos or videos of your machine? Congratulations on your purchase. Sounds like you have a great machine.

got no pics or video. i am happy with redmax. never had any problems with them. my last blowers lasted me about ten years before i bought the 8001.

How heavy are the redmax blowers? I know the shindiawa EB8510 get pretty heavy and your shoulders are killing you when you carry them around for an hour or so much less a large leaf removal job. This past fall I bought a stihl backpack blower and my guys would argue over who was going to use it because it was so lite compared to the shindiawa blowers. In the market for another blower and I hate the gas cap on the stihl blower.
