For non-licensed homowner types- weed b gone or trimec? OR???

I need to get rid of clover, smooth pigtail, and wild violet. I am not licensed in NY, but need to kill some of the above at my house, parent's house and friend's. Thanks

Weed B Gone is very similar to Trimec since they upgraded ther formula years ago. Weed B Gone Max is better. Ortho Clover Chickweed Oxalis killer is better yet. Add soap or a surfactant to solution for better wetting of the leaves. Violets are very tough--plan on several treatments. Violets spread by long underground rhizomes or roots. Dig out the main plants and spray whatever is left or comes back.
