About the same here in Ohio today. The shrink wrap kept melting before we could get it on the connections. :)

A nice 87 today, last week the highest was 92. A month ago, we had a heat index over a 100. Weird weather for Florida but I want complain.

100 in Indy yesterday with a misery index of 115-120. I honestly don't know how you folks in Florida and especially Texas work in this stuff day in and day out. Man I miss living in the Pacific Northwest!
It's Friday and I've got a 7am tee time this morning. Gonna try to beat the heat a bit.

It's so hot here, we are starting to keep our heat shrink in the cooler. Thinkin about putting a/c in the trailer so we have a place to cool off.
I'm not complaining - I'm sure it could be worse.
At least we are able to work pretty much year round.

On Saturday, I got in my truck and the temp on my guage read out at 122F and dropped to 106F. It was brutal.

We have been in a severe drought for months (like a lot of other areas) along the coast. We finally got some much needed rain yesterday and this morning. Almost forgot what rain is.

Mine read 111* in North Houston when I got in the truck at 6:30PM yesterday. By the time I got home, it had dropped to 107*.

Thermometer at the shop was reading 116* at 3:30 this afternoon. It's mounted on the parking lot side of the building so it gets the asphalt and reflected heat from the building, but still...

Looks like the A/C can't keep up with the heat. Let us know what the electric bill look like.

That's insane. We finally are getting a slight break with temps now in the 90s. I hope we just got Augusts heat in July. I am ok with an early fall.

we finally got a break here today as well. but was 110 a few days ago, actual temp, record. Remember this is the Ozark mountains ! and was 115 about 45 miles away, record as well. crazy hot. but yet, still out there working in it.

a month back I was in the Czech Republic for a couple of weeks and the temps never got above 62. the low one night was 38. I might be spending July and August there in the future !
