blower/vac problem

i just picked up a homelite blower vac from a old lady that i cut for when she was cleaning out her garage. the prob is that i cant figure out how the vac bag connects to the discharge,there are a couple parts that look like they should fit on or in the hole but i cant figure it out??
does anyone know anything to help me out?

On the old Homelite I have, the center part of the shroud flips down (there is a catch to push down) and the vacuum tube slips in there and turns to lock.
