what do you guys do when your at your last pass and you will fert left on left side because theres a pass and both sides using the magnum
do you just make that pass and stay closer to the left or do you use your guard and make a pass back and forth

I shoot back to the tire tracks. If it's so small I can't do 2 passes perfectly then I shoot as close as I can to the tracks evenly on both sides.

I try to plan ahead to avoid this by making my previous track smaller or larger to make it come out even. It never comes out truly even. I often end up applying a little extra on the grass as I want to avoid getting much fertilizer on the sidewalk or road.

When applying crabgrass control I am more likely to use the edge deflector, because I want to be sure the edges are covered completely. (And its cold in April--less chance of burn).

It is probably best to start at the cement edge so that the first swath is always correct. Let the uneveness happen in the bushes or back yard.

Did I understand your question?
