I have been mowing a few yards on the side for a couple of years depending on hours I would work at my full time job. Now have been recently laid off and am wanting to go full time in the lawn bussiness. The problem is it seems that its to late in the summer to gather additional customers. I have walked around handing bussiness cards and communicating with residents. I am looking to do quality work at a quality price but some services are just low balling way to much. I tell the potential customer that I can not compete with that. I know you have to get your foot in the door but come on!!!! someone needs to pay for equipment and fuel.
So my question is there any legite services out there that have too much over flow and would like to either refer or sell some of there customers. I have the equipment to get started and continue, but do not want to purchase anymore till I have a customer base. I also have 48' John Deer to do bigger yards.
HELP PLEASE!!!
