Hi, i have a redmax eb7001 & i took the gromit out that holds in the fule lines & when i put it back in the blower wouldn't start:confused:. What should i do to fix it?

Sounds like the hose is twisted or linked check it out.

Thanks, if thats not the problem do you know what else it could be?

Do the easy things first. If the fuel filter hasn't been changed out, do so. Replace plug, clean the air filter, check antispark screen for carbon obstruction in muffler(if equipped). If none of the above solve your problem, give it a squirt of brake cleaner and see if will fire. It it fires and dies, you have a fuel delivery problem--several scenarios to consider. Check fuel lines for an air leak, weak diagphrams in carb, plugged screen in carb, lack of proper compression, intake air leak, etc.

If you disconnected the fuel lines from the carburetor at some point,
the most likely cause to your problem is that you hooked them back up
backwards, simply unplug the two and reverse.

yes awesome information there! Ill try that the next time something breaks down.

BUT as the owner AND worker time might be of an issue if it goes out early or mid day and you have 10 more clients to get to...depending on your situation it may be best to get in good with your local small engine repair shop.

My guy here is of coarse local so its not but a 30 min stop to drop it off and he usually has one of what ever it is that's out of commission for me to use till he gets it fixed. If your use a small local business they usually are not but 20-30 bucks more then the parts...its guaranteed to be fixed right...AND all other things that might need to be checked (that you might not know of) as well.

This process did eventually lead me to include (regular servicing maintenance of ALL my equipment) this cost in my hourly operating costs. I only raises prices by a dollar or two per service. Added benefit...sharp blades...extra HP and torq... and NOT unscheduled down time...of which your losing Time and money with your employee standing around twitteling his thumbs.
