Dismiss and surfactant

So I know the label for Dismiss states that a surfactant is not recommended, as it may discolor turf, but when using it for control of yellow nutsedge do most of you still use one to be sure that it sticks to the nutsedge?

Use methelayted seed oil(mso) as a surfactant. Will not discolor turf. I would not waste your time without using mso.
