I'm needing a back-up engine in case this Kawasaki FB460V decides to go south and trying to locate a single cylinder Kawwasaki in this area is turning up to be negative. I have a good Kohler Command 20Hp that just needs refreshing up and was wondering what the fuel rate per hour is on average, will be bolted on a 36"WB if needed?

Putting a 20hp Kohler in place of a 12.5 Kaw is gonna make for alot more work than you think.
Ignition system for electric start
Accomodate the muffler to work on the frame
add to that the cost of " Freshening up" at current Kohler prices.
Look a little harder for a replacement engine.
