My lesco rep sent me this link that I can't get to paste. Anyway an article in Reuters says that Dupont may voluntarily recall imprelis and they are to meet with the epa on or before Tuesday. If interested go to Reuters.com

dupont does not do so willingly
im curoius what the "confidential documents on imprelis' safety" are

From the article........this could get interesting
In a statement on Thursday, DuPont said it is in talks with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on "the most effective way to implement our recommendation of a voluntary suspension of sale of DuPont Imprelis herbicide, and a product return and refund program."

I'm in NY and Imprelis was never registered here, so I haven't actually seen any of the damage myself. What about everyone else? In light of what we've been hearing in recent weeks, are any chemical distributors still selling the product?

Yep. They sure are. Or at least a couple of weeks ago. I'd like to name them out-right, but I'm afraid I'd go into some sort of law-suit or something.

Thanks guys for the links. I just seen our first damage wile out today. 3 different properties with some damage to blue spruce. Called JDL and was told keep good records, time spent, when, where, pics, ect. LawnSite seems to be the best place to get up to date info. Not a month after a problem was known. Thank God for LawnSite we stopped using Imprelis before Dupont or JDL told us too. Also the most up to date info on what to do with suspect trees, and what not to do. Thank you all!:)

Thats interesting....I had one property that was effected, 15 3-4 ft evergreens. The funny thing is, the Blue Spruces didn't see any damage. Only one variety did, and I am confirming that with my customer, but I believe it is like Black Hills Spruce or something like that. Very strange.

DA, Had some damage to Rose of Sharon and Forsythia shrubs also. But they have recovered. Today was the first I had seen any tree damage. We sprayed in May-June. PR
