T242 Carb Issues

Have a T242 trimmer, can not get it to get top RPMs, cleaned carb, exhaust, fuel filter, etc. still won't reach top RPMs. Any and all appreciated.

FYI, turned out not to be a carb issue, Exhaust port was severely clogged, not the spark arrestor screen, the exhaust port itself. Was narrowed down and looked like a dime coin slot, carefuly cleaned out, looks like you could slide in a stack of 3 quarters thru there now. Machine purring like a kitten now.:clapping::clapping::clapping:

Was flabbergasted to see the exhaust port so carbon/fouled up, have several pieces of 2 cycle equipment and never in all my years seen one like this. Guess all dogs can learn new tricks.:usflag:
