I need to install plant material in 7 planters at a supermarket I maintain. The planters are at the front of the store and they receive partial shade. The planters are 2.5 feet'wide by 6.5 feet long in size each. The planters have irrigation running to them and it works. I need some plants that I can plant now and that will last from year to year. I also need them to have some color for eye appeal. They also need to be relatively low growing since the planters are raised 3 feet above the pavement. I was thinking about Dwarf Youpon hollies spaced at intervals through the bed, and then Lorapetulums placed between those. I would then plant pansies across the front of the beds for accent this winter, since they are having a large inspection by the district manager in 2 weeks. Any suggestions as to what I should plant?
