View Full Version : Any cement finishers out there?

Not sure what forum I should place this in, and if it is applicable here, but here goes....

For concrete work.
What would give a cleaner finished appearance?

White arrowhead expansion joints, saw cuts, or notched in by trowel?
This will be for a sidewalk surrounding an inground pool.
Sidewalk will be 36 inches wide.

Thoughts from those that have used either methods are appreciated.

Notch it with proper expansion groove joint trowel.:)

I would either cut and seal them or use a joiner. Joiner is the quicker route. I don't like the plastic joints for around the pool just in case they raise up a little, you'll start stubbing toes.
