Seeing as this would be the Design and Build site I would be curious to see other peoples design work is like, feel free to include pictures of finished stuff too but mostly looking for drawings. Cad, dynascape, pro landscapes, sketchup... by hand even.

Anyway I will get things started here I guess.
Here is a deck we actually did last year but is one of my favorites. It was the first round deck I ever designed, pretty pleased with the way it turned out.

I guess people don't like to share design work? Or don't do design work? I will add some more when I get on my other computer.

I wonder if there are more Dynascape users in Canada than the U.S?

I'm taking a night school/Saturday intensive design course right now so that I can write my Certified Landscape Designer Certification through the CNLA. I still do designs by hand.

Actually I sent away to Dynascape for their trial software and they haven't sent any-thing. I see they also shut down the DYNAScape Forums.

Yea I noticed too they shut them down, I guess it wasn't as positive as they thought. The landscape design program I took in school taught it as a whole course and I fell in love. Personnaly I think with the dynascape design and their quote manage program it makes a great tool for any serious design build company. Not sure about the canada vs the states stats on that, but they are an american company right??

Couple more off our website, people seem to be asking about it more now which is good for us.

The last two are not finished rendered drawings. They had a couple revisions, and I dont know where the final one for our consultation is saved!

What software or cad program is that?

The Plan view drawings were done in Dynascape with the color one completed with the Dynascape Color Add on, and the 3D one were done in Sketch up using a Dynascape drawing for layout. The Elevation drawing is also produced from Dynascape.

Thanks, I will try and find some from when I did hand rendering. Found a couple while cleaning up the other day and thought they looked kinda cool.

Here are some hand rendering from when I was in school.

First one was just an assignment on marker work, the rest are my designs and renderings.

I use only autocad and photoshop. I think I need to go over to dynascapes just for time savings. When I was getting out of school sketch up had just come out, and I only did I believe one project on it. I'm good with graphics programs, but I wonder how much of it I can pickup on my own
