This is why you don't find old Vermeers ...... they crawl off into the woods to die. At the local playground.

Whew. For a minute there I thought that was our machine. Just checked to make sure our beast didn't go off to disappear in the woods. She's not pretty, but she is a work horse.

If it were close I would drag it out ,spare parts are hard to find , it looks like a duetz diesel, the core is worth $500, and scrap is bringing 12.00 per hundred .

It belongs to the parks department. Looked like they only used the trencher. Not sure what they buried.

I wonder if they left it there during Irene's visit.
