Don't listen to the dweebs, 1" hose is the way. With a remote and q.c. valves, we can be in and out of one of our 90 zoners in a hour or so. Planning is the answer for winterizing. ;)

Is this question authorized outside of the 2011 blow out thread?

An industrial supply house can make you a compressor hose of any length with the proper fittings. Anyone who uses garden hose is not even worth commenting about. :dizzy:

Some garden hose is as strong as air hose - I might not want to run 300 degree air through it, though.

A good quality hose is key, I use 3/4" heavy garden hose with no issue. You should be using one anyways for other reasons, but an after cooled compressor is important.

But I guess I am not worth commenting about and Im a dweeb because I dont have quick couplers on every job I manage.
