I wish you the best and will say a prayer for you.
It's all up to god and your doctor but you can only hope for the best.
I had a surgery 15 years ago and it worked. I could only hobble on one leg and was in pain but it worked.
I think that your surgery will work for you and you will be back to work in no time.
God Bless.

GOD is in control I prayed for you brother and will continue to pray. Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Feeling the pain of spinal stenosis myself I can understand. I hope everything works out for you. I have spinal stenosis, a slipped disk and a ruptured disk all at the L5-S1 joint. Throw in a touch of scolioses and you have my day, every day, day after day.

Sending one up to the throne room right now.

I pray in the name of Jesus that your healing is complete. By his stripes we are healed. I pray for your family that they would find peace and understanding in this difficult time. I pray that the angels would go before you and be there in the operating room surrounding the entire staff and the great physician God Almighty guiding the doctors hand that the surgery would be successful. Amen

Bless your heart man, I've had 4 neck and back surgeries, and am gonna have to have another soon, so I can definitely relate to your physical problem.

As for the mental pain, time, family, friends, and prayer will help with that.

I'll include you, your children, and your family in my little nightly prayers.

I hope all goes well, Stan.

Good luck.

My girlfriend had a similar surgery. Recovery was slow but life is better now. It took about a year for her to get back to work.

geez.. how do you even get up in the mornings with all that? I hope you're taking some pain meds. But the only downside to pain meds is they make ya loopy and you can't think straight. Prob not a good mix when you're around dangerous machines all day.

I dont believe in God so i wont send prayers, But i will say good luck and hope it all goes well.

There are two rules for success.......

1) Never tell everything you know

and

2) _________________________

Number 2 that you couldn't think of is actually number 1, and it is "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Proverbs 9: 10"

We do pray for Curtis at this time, knowing that God has the power to heal, and able to give us strength to trust in Him, and accept His will in all circumstances of life.

Look for the new thread where he gives God thanks for answered prayers and His goodness and kindness to him (not good luck). God is waiting for us to express our dependance on Him in our trials, but is also looking to see if we give thanks. Sometimes we do forget!

Amen brother. Sometimes its hard to remember that when times are tough, that's when your hands need to be raised the highest in praise and thanksgiving.

These are are tough and trying times in this industry. The economy is bad, no one is spending money like they used to and our overhead keeps getting higher each year. But God is not looking for us to focuss on financial success, only to live joyfully within his will.
