View Full Version : Any opinions on Swisher zt mowers?

Of course I'm reluctant to buy one for commercial purposes, but I'd like get some opinions first. I got to check one out the other day (same one pictured above) and liked what I saw for the most part. The only thing I wasn't so sure about is the thin deck and cheap looking spindles.

Heres a little bit of interesting ZTR history.



Max B. Swisher developed the first zero-turn radius walk behind mower in 1945 and the first ride-on zero-turn mower in 1955.

I have only gotten trade ins on them from people that said they were pos. I never had them that long got them all cheap and sold fast. Everyone so far I have seen regretted the purchase. I have seen some positive remarks on here though, you might do a search.

I know a guy who uses one commercially (mows chiropractor office) while talking to him notified him his frame is cracked....There's my opinion.
