I can get em a little less than that. But then I'm about an hr from the factory.
Less shipping.

Some times you can find a quality used one for a lot less.

I paid $3000 for my 02 back in January this year. Put $1200 in it right away and a few other small parts thru the summer.
I'd say its paid for itself this year. Sure saved A LOT of time versus using 21s to reach the same width of cut.

sounds about right, but with winter almost here, maybe you can pick up a good used one for less, worth a try

I don't use Walkers but my Scag dealer sells them too. He has the 48" for $10,995+tax. This price is with a 23 Kohler that is not efi. Does the 26efi really add that much to the price?

Apparently so.

I'd like a chance to run the two side by side.
Just to be able to compare power and fuel consumption differences.

fuel consumption and power are drastically different 23 vs 26. 26 EFI is really the only way to go

I've got a friend/competitor that says once you man up and go with the diesel option you'll never go back, even to the 26 hp.
Power and fuel consumption is way different.

So you are saying that you'll really be hating life if you try pushing a 48'' GHS deck with a 23?
I can see that.

yeah I m pretty sure the diesel model is more than 15K
that is a heck of a lot of fuel savings. I bet if you did the math on that the payback is in the thousands of hours. I don't like to keep a machine over 1000 hours

my 2011 walker 26 hp i got it for $11500.00 out the door. my exmarks come from different dealer.i get my mowers from the one that gives me a dealer. for next year I'm looking for 2 more mowers. i have to put another crew on. so i will see what they will do for me. both dealers know if no deal I'm out the door.

$14,300 for 26 efi with 52" deck, deflector, and ramp, and a second set of blades but we are north of the border and things are a little more pricey

compare contrast navigator vs walker pros and cons. I have a walker and have demoed a navigator. I am demoing again in november trying to make decisions for expansion, i have heard good bad and ugly about the navigator but it would be nice to hear from someone running both

I am thinking about trading my mt 26 efi in. I was wondering if anyone has or recommends the mtl31 efi liquid cooled? Also here are the qoutes i got the 26 efi Minus my discount was 12250 plus tax and the mtl 31 was 14150 plus tax.

I am also demoing the exmark navigator, was supposed to on last thursday but got canceled because of the rain:nono: I aint going make my mind about the new walker purchase until I try the navigator. But I think the walker is going to win

i run both. this is what i think. to me their are the same. but the walker picks up better in dry grass then exmark. exmark picks up better in wet grass. the walker turn better then the exmark. exmark is better on hills.
