Seems as if I can't go 6 months without breaking the cruise control on my Stihl BR 400's. Tried sliding rubber bands over trigger, but kept on breaking. This season I tried an O-Ring and works great. Just slide over the handle and use as needed to be in the cruise mode. Hope this helps.
