Oh my god, I want that truck!

He has no reserve on this auction. He could get burned pretty bad.

Maybe he will sell me the truck.

:D

Yeah I can see where he will get screwed by no reserve. Currently the biding is only at $3000.
It looks and sounds like a legit operation, that for the right guy should do OK.

Wow does that mean that he has to sell it for 3 grand if its the last bid ? No likely but I live in charlotte and sounds interesting maybe I can expand and have 2 locations:D

Exactly, by not putting a reserve on it he must sell to the highest bidder once the auction closes. He may realize it before the auction closes and end the auction early which is allowed.

Not putting a reserve on an item is a great way to generate interest but on an item this costly you would be foolish not to have one.

if you dont have a reserve all you would have to do is have a friend bid higher and end the auction.

if you have a friend bid higher then you still have to pay the fee to Ebay and on something that may be worth 30k or more the fee can be quite large, not a price I would want to pay for making a small mistake.

He did the right thing. Ended the auction and it will likely resurface with a reserve that he is willing to sell it for in the days to come.

What good is a reserve if you can end the auction.

In this case the ability to end the auction is good because he didn't know what a reserve meant. Now that he knows he will make sure he sets a reasonable reserve so that he doesn't sell a 30k business for 4k. Ebay is a good thing as long as you know how it works.
