Does anyone know the best way to get a foot in the door doing seal coating for large companies, for example K Mart, Winn Dixie, Walgreens, ect.? I been researching it online and haven't really learned much about it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

one way is to get in with a property manager for the company that owes the land the store is on. or find a large local/regional retail company and get in with them...then use that connection.

Buddy up to all the local store managers and stay in close contact with them.
Sooner or later one of them will move up into a regional managers position and that might be your entry point into doing the parking lots for all the area stores.

I know most of the big stores will get with a supplier Like Sealmaster or Nira, and cut a deal. From that point they will get a price from one of the manufactures largest user of their products to aplly it like Macadam or Unitex. Sometimes you need to be certified to some of the material down, you can't even buy the stuff the put on some lots. Some of these jobs need to squeegee first coat and spray second coat. I watched that co. Macadam do a mall lot over the summer they had some equipment show up 2 squeegee machines and 4 tri ax. spray trucks. What would of taken my crew a week to do, was done in 6 hrs with the second coat.
