Alright Lawnsiters! I know you guys have nothing better to do so help me out. I've been really interested in finding a trailer with a side ramp and rear gate (split or not). They are readily available if they're custom made, but I've been searching for one that already produced as a regular product. I would think an 18 foot would be enough? I'd like to fit the 36, 48, and 60 on the trailer if I had to. 5200# axles and something 7+ feet wide would also be a huge help. Have any suggestions, even if they're custom trailers, shoot them anyway?

Custom is going to be pretty much the easiest way for you to get a trailer like that, unless you drive to texas where trailers are plentiful and cheap.

Trust me, I went through this whole process in 2010.

Pretty much the same spec's you want too, may not be your color though...

You could buy a 7x18 flat deck car hauler and then you make it custom the way you want it to be.

I know custom would be the easiest, we've found a few companies that offer it as an option though. mowerbrad, can you fit you rthree JD's on there at the same time?

I can fit my 21", 48" and 54" all on there at the same time. If I did have a larger walkbehind, I would probably have to turn it sideways on the front, but I would assume it would fit.

Do you have a bagging system on any of your machines? Bagging systems do take up a little more room so things would be a little tighter. If you don't have a bagging system on your machines, you shouldn't have a problem putting all three on a trailer like mine.

They are available and a time saver on small stops and you could get by with a 16' if the 36 is a walk behind.

That is a no to the bagging system. I have sside discharge bags for every machine but they can be taken off. And yes the 36 is a walkbehind, I have a 21 also though.

Then you should have no problem fitting all your mowers on a trailer like mine. Turn the 36 sideways and park the two ztrs back to back. You won't have much room in between the machines, but you will be able to fit them all on.

Below is a thread where I posted pics of my trailer.

2009 83" x 22' PJ trailer, 5 ft side ramp, dove tail, 5200 lbs. Works really well. Holds 2 turf tigers, 21's, and a 48" vride (side gate).

Did I order it yes, but the dealer normally has one close to it on hand. Usually a 18ft to 20ft with the 5ft gate. What I have is all regular options they offer.

I would put my 22 on the triangular part by the jack. I just put some plywood down and bungee it to the trailer. Just putting it out there.

It was custom built by a local shop here in Michigan, B&B Trucking Equipment. They only do custom built trailers.

It's a 20" I call it a 22". The extra 2" makes me feel like the work gets done quicker.

The same reason I set my clock 5min fast.
