hydro pumps?

This may sound like a dumb question but how do you service a hydro pump? It’s a cub cadet 50in zero turn. I have had the mower since 2006 and have put 1456hr on it. I was looking at the manual and it said to have them serviced about this time. What are you suppose to do? Chang fluid?

Is 1456 hours the first service interval?
Most commercial mowers are on 500 hour intervals.

Most of my mowers have a hydro fluild and filter change required at 1000 hours. I've never heard of really doing anything else except maybe checking the hydro belts.
