Hello and thanks for viewing this page. My company i just started is called North Texas Lawn Scapes. I am doing just lawn mowing right now but was thinking of including these extra services to boost profits.
Christmas Lights
Gutter Cleaning
Power Washing
and this one iv thought hard about- mobile car washing. this would be great to offer because after im done mowing their lawn i could just simply give a car wash for an additional 15 bucks. Please let me know which of these i should add and how i should run them. Also please visit my site Northtexaslawnscapes.com (http://cms.northtexaslawnscapes.com/) as i just created it and tell me what you like and what youd change. Thanks alot and cant wait to hear from you!!

What you should add really comes down to your market and what people are open to. For example we added Holiday lighting this year and while we did fairly well for a first year we got a lot of weird looks because holiday lighting companies are far and few up here, where as in the south west there is a large holiday lighting market as it has been more polpular down there longer than here. One thing I would recomend is to check on the laws for mobile car washing. Many states regulate this very strictly and hold molbile car washing to the same standards as a large carwash/detail center. Here onsite carwashers have to have a way to reclaim the water off the ground and remove it with them in a mounted grey water tank. Many states and federal laws regulate that industry due to water runoff and diffeent water acts/laws (my family owns one of the Country's largest distributors for that industry)

You think 15 is cheap? And thanks a lot for that feedback. Where could I find out if this is legal and what not?

The only legal side to performing any of these services is whether your city/state required you to have a business license for each city you perform work....

They will make you jump through hoops and turn in circles first but they will end up helping you.

If you just started I would honestly just stick to mowing and some small side landscape projects like mulch or bushes just to get used to the industry instead of trying to branch off into a 100 different areas. Perfect one thing before jumping to the next. It's a big. Is take that many people learn the hard way.
