Stripe Question

The stripes that people are posting on this site look fantastic. I remember on Long Island taking great pride in my stripes but down here in Florida I'm cutting St. Augustine or Bahia. Does anyone have any tips on striping these grasses they just don't seam to stripe as well.:(

From what ive read those just dont stripe to good.I was down at my cousins in the orlando area .
I watched his lawn service mow his lawn, he had st augustine and the service had exmark mowers. His lawn striped some put very faint stripes down and that was gone a few hours later.

I, too, live in St. Augustine country and have never been able to, nor have I seen, produce stripes like they do on northern grasses.
