What and how do you charge a customer if they want bed edging done. Now, grass has grown into the bed and i took a flat shovel and edged it with that at first then took the stick edge at the end. but my question is? Would you charge PER FOOT or just hourly? and how much can you charge a customer per foot? i underbid this job way too low because of the time it took with the shovel. I would perfer to charge per foot, thats a lot of work!

I charge by the hour if I am not doing a mulch job. If its a mulch job edging is covered under bed prep. which is 10 dollars per yard.

It's not really all that much work. I charge .75-1, unless of coarse I am doing bed prep and mulch.
