Ever since I changed to Windows 7 and IE 9 I have to log into the site every time. I have my privacy setting all the way on low to allow all cookies, and I of course am clicking the "remember me" box.
What's strange is Plowsite.com is working fine.
Any suggestions?

I am using IE 9 as well and not having to login everytime...when you leave the site, are you logging out or just closing your browser?

just closing my browser. Which prompted me to check, I do NOT have the option set to delete history when exiting (which would keep plowsite from saving my logon too).

Just did some more testing, if I just go to another website without closing my browser then come back, my logon is saved. Closing the browser then restarting it causes the logon to be lost.

I just checked your settings here and everything is fine with your account so not sure what would be causing this...I was thinking maybe you have your browser set to clear cookies, but then you would need to login at PlowSite as well if that was the case

I deleted all my cookies and history, then tried again, same result. Only now it doesn'twork at plowsite either. After I installed Windows 7 it came with IE8. I probably logged onto plowsite under IE8 but not here. Then I "upgraded" to IE9 and the plowsite cookie was probably saved during the upgrade. Now that I deleted all cookies neither site works.
I'd say try deleting your cookies and see what happens for you, but then you might be in the same boat as me and as a moderator you probably don't want to have to logon all the time.
I do notice that in the upper right corner it says my last visit was last night even then I've obviously visited multiple times this morning.

One more update, after deleting the cookies another unrelated forum website isn't saving my logon either. So it's not just a lawnsite or plowsite issue. Facebook is saving it though, so is google.

Found the problem (which also affected Chrome, not just IE9). It was CA Security Suite, which had also been upgraded, that had a setting that was deleting the cookies on exit.

How is the experience with IE9? Is it worth upgrading?

I don't like where they moved the "zoom level" button. I find myself changing the zoom quite often to make some sites easier to read without putting on my reading glasses but then I need to zoom back out to shrink the size of the page. Other than that I haven't noticed much difference.

Apologies for the unintentional hi-jack.
