Well i have to say i'm an Exmark man , but that is an awesome machine!!! It should have no problems selling with that price!

i dont think that is a 2010 deck or chute....

i think its a really noce looking early 2000's model going by the deck... possibly older. i had a 1994scag with the same chute as that. bump for a nice clean mower though!

I would call the dealer with that vin number to make sure.

Its quite possibly that it was new old stock. The 61's weren't that popular so there might have been one sitting in a warehouse somewhere. It looks like it is in great shape. That is definitely earlier than a 2009. Its probably a early-mid 2000's. Scag started using a rubber chute and the gas tank with cupholder in 2006 i think. Plus it would have come with the velocity plus deck and a 21hp kawi if it was 2009.

It still looks like a nice machine and the price is alright so it would be a deal if someone was looking for that model.

I think metro36 is right.But that is a very clean mower and you're price is pretty good on it.:)

i dont have it in front of me, but every dealer i have spoken to say that scag serial numbers do not tell you the year. thanks

This is what I have found.
"If your serial number starts with a 3 then it is a 1998, a 4=1999, 5=2000 so for and so on. If it starts with an A then it is a 05 B=06 "
