Need some opinions and pros/cons for the decision on purchasing a 6x12 vs 7x12 BriMar dump. Both would be the 10K since I am pulling with a 2500HD. Weight for the 6x12 is 2680lbs. and the 7x12 in 2815lbs. The reason for staying at 12ft long in too keep the weight and overall length down. Any ideas..........:usflag:

It depends on your area. I live in the suburbs so if im going to an unknown house delivering wood, i will bring my 6x12 trailer as opposed to my 7x14. Its not the length that is the problem sometimes but rather the width. A foot might not be much, but overall it makes a difference. My 6x12 is a Low profile dump and the 7x14 is a heavy duty dump. The heavy duty is very well built where as the low profile is built on a smaller scale. Both are great trailers and serve their purpose.

I really like my 7x12, but is the room really needed for your business? That depends on you.

I ended up buying the 7x12 bri mar Lp dump. Found out that it was only $100 more and thought it might handle carrying equipment better, although it would not be very often. Thanks for the advice. :usflag:

Even hauling our skid with the 7x12 is nice because you have more room insdie the trailer to chain it all down instead of squeezing for space. Pictures?

Will post some epics soon. Delivery is set for mid Feb from factory to dealer. Dealer will add tarpaulin kit at their location. Anyone use the wireless dump remote and what are your opinion vs. the remote cable? :usflag:

Ours has the remote but I like simplicity of that I think. we often have two people when unloading so when can check on the load and another can raise or lower the dump.

Finally got the dump trailer in. Was considered adding a tarp or sides but decided to wait until I use it some and see what I need. I had the dealer add some extra D rings on the inside of the body. :usflag:
