My gate is 6' x 4', I don't know how heavy it is so, I don't know what spring to start with. Any idea's?

Do you know the shaft diameter and approximate weight of the gate?

I called Towpro the builder of the trailer and they said total weight of the gate was about 150lbs. About 1" on the diameter would be good. I will have to fabricate an new hinge.

I think we gave you 1000-1500 over the last 2 years very nice selection. And significantly cheaper then going through northern tool or the local dealerships for much of what we needed. The 7 way cable for wiring with a 7 way plug was about a 3rd the cost of what northern tool wanted. Only weak area we thought was the trailer rims your selection on the exotics was lacking but we found some elsewhere that were awesome looking when we built our 20 footer. But for lights springs latches axles you guys have more then satisfied us.

We have one for a 3/4" shaft that would work, but nothing for 1". I am in the process of trying to find them for you.

3/4 will be fine. I'm going to have to make the hinge anyway. I can work with that.
