best time of year to sell/trade in mowers

I need to start staggering my mowers so that I have different years in hopes of keeping break downs low. What time of year do you think is the best time to sell or trade in the old ones? I can trade in at my dealer if I stay with the same brand. I may not get as much as selling on the open market, but it saves me time of keeping them up and posting ads.

I didn't know if it really mattered or not.

Now while the demand is low. Wait til spring and the prices will go up. There isn't a dealer out there that wouldn't love to sell a mower in Feb.
