Maybe. Hard to tell what the rest of the mower looks like or the condition it's in. If it's clean and well maintained, then yes it's worth 3k.

What year? What deck? If you have the first digit of the S/N I can figure it out.

Most likely it is worth it.

It is a 2002 model stt and I've got it down to 2800. What deck type comes with the stt?

The S/N should start with a 7. I own the exact model, it should have the advantage deck which works fine besides in very wet conditions. This year was the last year with 10cc pumps but is the first year with the still current frame.

Verify the year with the S/N and buy. If it was a 2001 or older I would think twice for a better deal.

I recently bought TT. Here are some numbers to help you. Mine is a 1999 52" Scag TT w/ 27 Kohler w/ 1,080 hours and a 3-bag catching unit. I payed $2500 for it, but I did end up needed to put around $1500 into it to get it fully running. So in total I have about $4000 into it. Hope these numbers help. - Mike

Here is a picture of it. What motor options did they have for 2002?
I appreciate everyone's feedback.

It's liquid cooled so it must be the 27hp Kawi correct...?

It's a 2001 model. Smaller front wheels, older frame style, no hydro cooler, 10cc pumps, front caster support arms pricer, and deck lift springs are different.

If it runs good and in decent shape the price is decent. I have a 2001 also which I'm going to try selling in the spring for $3K or so.
