My local cub cadet dealer has a really good deal going right now on their commercial equipment. I have no experience w/ their cut quality....I hope some of you can chime in. I was all set to buy a Ferris IS500z and than I stumbled on this deal that could save me $1200.00 Please chime in!

You get what you pay for with a CC. The Ferris would be a much better mower.

The cc has a better motor (kohler) while the ferris is only available with briggs...They both have the same pumps? The only difference should be cut quality correct?

and build quality. They are not in the same league as the Ferris IMO.

Thank you for the advice. Any others have any views? I am really interested in The Cub's cut quality. It does have a sloped nose deck, with baffles. Not too sure how that would compare with Ferris's ICD cutting system?

Actually the cut is pretty good but the build quality is piss poor.

The discharge seemed to me to be a little smaller on the cc.
