View Full Version : 2007 Isuzu NPR HD dump for sale!

Hi everybody,

I'm am selling my 2007 Isuzu NPR HD. $26,500 obo.
5.2L pre-dpf diesel with automatic transmission
Cruise control
Roof vent
Idle adjust knob in cab
Stereo (kind of crappy)
34xxx miles. That's right 34K!!
8x12' Stake body dump. Three removable panels on each side.
Manual Tarp system

This truck is in very-good condition overall. There are a few paint chips here and there on the cab but the bed and wheels were just re-painted. It drives with no problems and is actually very easy to drive because of the excellent visibility and light steering.

I just replaced the brake pads on the front wheels less than 100 miles ago. The tires all around are probably around 40% and should have another season in them easily.

The truck only has two problems. 1st is a cracked turn signal lens cover on the back (I never got around to getting a new one because I rarely drive it without the trailer behind, poor excuse I know).
The second problem is that the dump bed apparently has a bad connection somewhere between the battery and the solenoid. The bed will raise up and down fine but you must run a lead between the power port on the solenoid and the battery terminal. When you do that you can control the bed up and down no problem. I routinely dumped 4-5k lbs of grass with this thing no problem.

I am not very good with electrics and have been using the bed this way for some time. I just haven't found anybody willing to take a look at it.

Just for reference this truck takes up about the same amount of space as a crew cab pickup, so you can still park it at walmart no problem. It also has a tiny turning circle so it's great for getting in and out of cul-de-sacs.

I have a bunch of pictures and a couple videos.

Feel free to call me or pm me with any questions.

I'll try to slap the go-pro on today and get a drive video, meanwhile here's some more pictures:

Nice truck!

Nice truck!

Thanks! It's been great for bagging grass and cleanups, and I still can't get over how maneuverable it is.

Bump for a great truck at a great price. I know I have 2 of them 04 and 06. That truck new is now a 55-60 K rig. If I was in the market for another I would make the trip. A local credit union would likely finance it too.

very nice truck

very nice truck

I'm gonna keep it up here for a week or so before I list it locally, I'd like to give the LS guys first crack at it.

On an unrelated note, I've just put up a video of the vantage mowing a yard last year. Gives a gas tank eye view.

No interest here for the NPR?

Am I too high priced?

I'm interested. How much can this truck tow though? I have an 8.5x20 enclosed trailer that would go behind this. GVWR on the trailer is 9,990. Also would I need a CDL to to drive this with the trailer?

02-24-2012, 05:52 PM
No CDL needed. I don't know what the tow rating is, but I was tagged for 20k lbs gross combined. The truck is about 8600lbs so I had about 11k left. I will try to double check when I get back in town to get you a better answer.

Thanks man. What's the mpg on it? I like how you made all the videos for it as well.

BTW, Nice GT.

Average mpg is around 10.5. A heavy foot will see 10 and saintly driving will see 11-12.

Just my $.02, but I would get those little problems fixed before you sell it. When a guy looks at a newer low mileage truck he expects everything to work and nothing to be broken. If I looked at an otherwise nice truck that had little problems like that I would think that the owner did not take good care of the truck and I would keep looking.

For your dump problem, dollars to donuts it's just a loose or dirty connection, very easy to fix.

How much weight is the truck rate for. How are the panel on the side locked in. Are they in a channel or is it just the side latch. Also it looks like if all 3 are removed the side is a clear span would this be correct?

I just looked it up and the truck is 14.5k gvw. The side panels lock into each other with safety latches which are basically an L shaped bracket system. You are correct, the panels are removable leaving the bed open with just the bulkhead and rear gate still upright.

Looks like the local deal fell through. Bump!
Here's a couple pics of why this truck has been nice for bagging grass...less trips to the landfill.

Special price drop LS members only now $25,500.

I'd like to get this sold and a new truck in place before the season starts screamin'.
