You could go with a longer ramp like a 4ft or 5ft. I'm guessing your current one is a 3ft otherwise you have some bad angles going on with your hitch situation.

Get one with a drop axle or raise your trailer hitch.

That must be one crazy high trailer or you cut really low and adjust using only the caster fork spacers. Yes a dove would work but can you find one that small without going custom?

The price seems fair as it's pretty rare at least here. Do a lot of guys use dove tails in your area? I've never seen a lawn trailer that was made that way here for just mowing operations.

You do not need a dovetail for lawn mowers.

i ran a 6x12 with a dove tail for a couple of years. It works great for loading mowers and such but watch out at gas stations and hills the back of the trailer will drag a little. That is not a bad price at all. To sove this problem just put some wheels on the back of it like what some RV's have or the enclosed trailers. I just never worried about it because of the fact that i was looking at an enclosed. Good luck with the search. if you have any questions about that size trailer with a dove tail just ask.
