What do you guys who live in colder climates like me , do about leaves frozen to the ground. Had a leaf cleanup yesterday and part of them were frozen to the ground. Man I raked and raked. :blob2:

Wait for it to warm up again. LOL.
But if you really have to get a frozen turf cleaned up good, the only thing I have found is a powerbroom (mine is the original Shindiawa). It will take out all leaves, twigs, and even the ice globs, and not hurt the grass blades. But it's gonna take a while, and then loading that pile of ice and frozen leaves is a real chore.

As the day warmed up it got easier. But I loaded four pickup loads of wet leaves by hand, tarps and yard buckets. Man when I got up this morning my back was killin me.
