The sweet viburnum is growing like crazy now.Last week they where fine on my commerical accounts. With the warmer temps they are growing like mad. Hard to believe they can grow that fast in one week. It is funny how certain shrubs grow like crazy at different times of the year. Anyone notice the increase in growth? The grass is also growing fast now.

Yup. This was my off week but most yards need cutting. Lakeview jasmine has taken off pretty good.

Hopefully this shuts everything back down for a couple of weeks.

As for the viburnum, I had pretty good luck last year with Cutless. I just cut it out too early and they made up for lost time Sept-Nov.

I had the same problem using Atrimmec back in my solo days. If I missed an app the bounce back effect was dramatic. Now I have extra help to stay on top of fast growers.:usflag:

After I trim can I spray them with some kind of growth control? Does it really slow it down quite a bit? Light spray after trimming or heavy? I got alot of shrubs but it would be nice to spray them all down. Will it hurt any shrub? What is the best product? I sure hope everything slows down again!!!!

First you need a LLCM license (round up). If you got that great. Next read up on plant growth regulators or PGR's. There are many brands some liquid, some granular. I used a light spray. You may get a little yellowing or curling at first. Like previously mentioned once you stop the treaments they come back with a vengeance.:usflag:
